Lim Jae-young
Originally from Seoul, she is currently based in Tokyo. She majored in Western painting at Ewha Womans University and completed her bachelor's and master's degree. With the theme of mythological images, desires hidden in the unconscious, and ambivalence of emotions, he continues to explore the inner life of human beings. On the screen, abstract and concrete intersect, using layers, veils, hidden images, and other elements to explore the boundaries between seen and unseen. In recent years, through the START Box program, he has been trying new pictorial experiments in the diverse creative environment of Tokyo, while working on the expansion of the production process and visual language.

Through the world of psychology, oriental thought, physiology, etc., which I have been strongly attracted to, I have created a device = recaller to awaken the "inner nature" of myself and others by converting the thought which I deepened about living with this mind and body in this ambiguous world into songs, pictures, three-dimensional forms, words, events, etc. In October 2025, he held his first solo exhibition "dissolvingy →→recalling | I keep forgetting →→ I keep remembering" at Sun Gallery and Space.
