Business Overview
In the real world and on social media, there are many differences in the distance between oneself and others, and in the information shared. With the theme of mirrors, I am looking at the relationship between people and mirrors from modern science, industrial history, and archaeological perspectives such as myths and religious rituals, while crossing materials and techniques. The theme of this exhibition is the complex that the real image of oneself has as an attitude to face the virtual image of oneself that is transmitted to others by separating the inner and outer aspects of oneself. 10 ways to face the real image and the record of updating oneself in 10 days will be exhibited.

Profile
[Kazuto Imura]
Born in Kyoto in 1990. In 2017, he majored in Advanced Art Expression at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts.
Focusing on the situation where one's own appearance can be confirmed only through reproduction, he became interested in the absence of a being who recognizes the inside and the outside from both directions, and he thought about it through the creation of the mirror theme. Based on its multifaceted research on optical equipment, mirrors that do not reflect, magic mirrors, obsidian, rotating liquid mirrors, and other materials and techniques, it traces the transition of the relationship between people and mirrors from the viewpoint of lookism, modern science, industrial history, mythology, religious rituals, and archaeology.
