Business Overview
The two-day festival was a success.
March 26 (free performance): "Chanson Promenade" performed by 34 amateur singers. Accompaniment: Takashi Sueyama, piano, Shinnosuke Iguchi, bass.
On March 27 (paid performance), there are two performances: a matinee and an evening performance.
Daytime: Part I is a musical drama with chanson, images and plays, "Chanson Drama: The Woman of Moulin Rouge." Piano accompaniment was provided by Takashi SUYAMA, with performances by Keisuke SHINOHARA, Yoko SHIINA, Reiko IWAMATSU and a total of 15 others (according to auditions). Part II "Chanson Gallery" is a chanson concert performed by eight professional singers and two guest singers.
Evening: Part I (Chanson drama "The Woman of Moulin Rouge" is the same as the matinee. Part II (chanson gallery) is a chanson concert performed by eight professional singers and a guest singer (Peter, real name: Shinnosuke Ikehata), replacing the performers from the matinee.

Profile
【TOKYO CHANSON FESTIVAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE 】
This committee was established in 2011 mainly by local chanson enthusiasts to plan, prepare, implement and manage the chanson festival. Since May 2012, the festival has been held almost every year, with the exception of 2020, when performances had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on this long experience, we have accumulated valuable know-how regarding the planning and operation of this project.
