Business Overview

It is a vocal concert combining the worldview of Japanese literature and German music by "Eisler and Hindemite songs contemporary with Rampo" and. Based on a song depicting a German society filled with the smell of blood, dust, and steel in the 1920s, it focuses on the solitude and misfortune of the "I," the chair craftsman who appears in "The Human Chair," and eventually transforms into the chair craftsman himself.

Profile

Sasaki Akemi
Born in Hikari City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. His main repertoire includes trouser roles such as "The Marriage of Figaro" by Cerbino and "The Bat" by Duke Orlovsky and Italian Baroque roles such as Monteverdi. From 2019 to 2024, he performed at the Seiji Ozawa Music School. In addition, he is engaged in performance activities based on his own plans, from planning to writing scripts and lyrics. He has planned and performed in performances featuring women surrounding Mozart, "Two Women - Loved Mozart" and "Two Women - Aloisia and Beisle" (supported by Arts Council Tokyo).
Graduated from Ueno Gakuen University. She has studied vocal music with Yu Nishio, Katsunori Kono, Masako Teshima, Yoko Murakami, Makiko Yamashita and Yuki Kobayashi. Attended master classes by V. Lucianetz and M. DeVere. He is currently studying Baroque vocal music under Takuya Nemoto and Alexander technique under Eiko Kanemoto.
