Business Overview
The purpose of this program is to introduce the latest overseas piano pieces that are rarely performed in Japan by theme, commission new works from Japanese composers related to the theme, and perform old works again. The program for this second performance consists of works by Italian composers F. Filidei, M. Momi, S. Sciarrino, M. Lanza, G. Manca, and S. Gervasoni (including the first performances in Japan) and works by Yoichi Sugiyama, who lives in Italy, and Tetsuo Kubo, who studied in Italy, making it a performance unique to Ryogoku Menten Hall, which has pursued various special piano playing techniques. The performance is performed by Masanobu Shinoda, a composer himself who has performed many new premieres.
