At the 7th Ogikubo Youth Ensemble Concert, a member of the Fresh Junior Concert triumphantly performed as a solo oboe. The 10 Mirai Dream Concert invited the brass band club of Tachihara-cho Daiichi Junior High School in Minamisoma City as it did last year. The Suginami Youth Wind Orchestra was formed last year with 66 members this year, and the performance level is improving every year. Through their solo performances and joint performances, they deepened their interaction with each other, which touched many audiences. Performances at open spaces, such as Ogikubo Town Seven Station Square, were able to return to pre-pandemic times, providing many people with an opportunity to casually experience classical music on the streets of Ogikubo. Profile

[Association of Ogikubo, a town for enjoying classical music]
Ogikubo has a cultural climate built by its predecessors. A group called the 21 Century Ogikubo Society was formed to discuss and make proposals for a better place to live in Ogikubo, such as the improvement of the area in front of the station and environmental issues surrounding Ogikubo. He aimed to revitalize Ogikubo, a town where even the elderly and small children can live with peace of mind. Through classical music, Ogikubo's community development gained momentum and the Ogikubo Music Festival was launched.
