[Shimokitazawa's Summer Solstice Candle Night] Saturday, June 22, 2024 On the longest day of the year, this summer solstice event will light candles, turn off the lights, and create a time to feel nature in the city. In cooperation with Odakyu Electric Railway, it was held as a free event where you can enjoy live music, DJ, market and candles at "Shimokita Railroad Street Empty Lot" which was born on the site of former railroad in Shimokitazawa. Profile

[Noel on the Small Path Executive Committee]
The Noel on the Small Path, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2024, was organized as a Christmas candlelight event by a volunteer-based executive committee. More than 10 groups of candle artists have been commissioned to decorate more than 20 places with unique and beautiful decorations, adding more charm to the town as a Christmas tradition of Shimokitazawa. In addition, "Shimokitazawa's Summer Solstice Candle Night" is held on the summer solstice as a pair event with the winter solstice to further enhance the appeal of Shimokitazawa and candles.
