Business Overview
"sakamotocommon GINZA" was held at Ginza Sony Park as the inaugural project of "sakamotocommon," an initiative launched to share the legacy of Ryuichi Sakamoto. "sakamotocommon" aims to commonize the intellectual property, musical instruments, library, and other "legacies" left behind by Sakamoto, and to utilize them for the benefit of future creators. The project featured exhibitions such as "Sensing Streams 2024 – invisible inaudible (GINZA version)" by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Daito Manabe, "Ryuichi Sakamoto Field Recordings & '12' by 360 Reality Audio + Sakamoto Library Extension," and "Ryuichi Sakamoto's 'Opera Piano' designed for 'LIFE a ryuichi sakamoto opera 1999'." Events also included the "sakamotocommon Planning Meeting," the "sakamotocommon Workshop: Learn How the Piano Works with Opera Piano!", and the "Tohoku Youth Orchestra in Ginza Sony Park Concert." Many people attended the event, which led to increased awareness of sakamotocommon's philosophy.
