Business Overview

Art-related projects were held for 10 days at various venues in Fuchu City and neighboring areas, including galleries, ateliers, restaurants, markets, and dental clinics. There were a wide range of projects, including exhibitions of paintings and illustrations, workshops, live performances, improvised plays, installations, calligraphy, photo exhibitions, live painting, video works, and wood carvings, which provided opportunities for artists working in Fuchu City to become known to the community. In this art festival, five groups of artists collaborated with local companies to develop art under the title "Local Art Collaboration," a project in which local companies donated materials that were no longer needed and used them as creative materials. The festival aims to make Fuchu a city where everyone can express themselves by discovering new local attractions and creating connections between artists, local communities and local businesses through the festival.

[NPO Artist Collective Fuchu]
In 2015, artists with ateliers in the city established Artist Collective Fuchu (ACF). The members of ACF think about art that is close to life in Fuchu City and life that is close to art from their respective perspectives, share ideas for projects that will bridge the region and art, and create a place to realize them together. We get to know each other and the region through art. ACF aims to create a city where everyone can express themselves freely.
