Business Overview
Sumida Mukaijima EXPO is an immersive community event held every autumn since 2020 in the towns of Kyojima, Yahiro, and Bunka in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, supported by people who have lived there for a long time, people who have moved there in search of expression, and people who are drawn to the mysterious charm of the place. During the month, various art exhibits, project presentations, guerrilla events, and other events are held on the stage of the town's buildings and shopping district, where the old tenement houses still remain. Yashima Flower Culture Foundation
The Yashima Flower Culture Foundation is a community foundation that aims to pass down the lifestyle and culture of Mukaijima, Sumida Ward. The Sumida-Mukaijima Expo was founded in 2020 as the organizing committee for the exhibition and was incorporated in 2023. In addition to holding this exhibition every autumn, we are engaged in a wide range of activities such as preparing for building certification and conducting town tours.
