Business Overview
Kunsthaus Yellow Art, Dr. Guiselin's Museum, and Aiseikai, a social welfare organization, collaborated to hold an international exchange exhibition introducing art brut artists from Japan and Belgium. 17 artists from Japan and 18 artists from Belgium exhibited creative works by mentally and intellectually disabled artists who are active in Japan and Belgium at the Dr. Guiselin Museum. In addition, as an international exchange project, an exchange project was carried out by mail (airmail) between Japanese and Belgian exhibitors. This exchange provided an opportunity for the artists to come into contact with each other's expressions, personalities, and cultures through the letters and pictures they drew on the postcards. The postcards used in this project were displayed together with the works in the exhibition hall. The viewers were mainly from Europe, many countries, many generations, and a wide range of people with and without disabilities.
