FY 2023 (Phase 2) Grant for Creating Attractive Arts and Culture

Business Overview

With the theme of "WE CAN EXPAND," we aimed to create an ALS awareness event that opens up and expands a new future of body expansion by combining the power of technology and the creative power of humans. We provided a variety of borderless contents such as artist live shows using technology, ALS talk shows, and robot pop-up stores. In the live stage of "EYE VDJ MASA," where Masatane Muto himself controlled DJ/VJ with eye control, he tried the world's first body expansion live by combining cutting-edge technologies such as digital avatar controlled by myoelectric sensors and robot arm production controlled by brain waves. In addition, EYE VDJ MASA performed all original songs written by eye input. A total of approximately 823 people, including participants with disabilities such as ALS, participated in the event, and a total of approximately 1,300 people participated in the event, including live streaming and the metaverse.

[General Incorporated Association WITH ALS]
The purpose of this association is to inform the world about the current situation of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) patients through their own experiences, and to improve treatment methods and support systems by expanding awareness and understanding. We will also develop content and support activities that contribute to improving the quality of life (QOL) of patients with ALS and other intractable diseases, their families, and non-patients.
