Business Overview
ASAKUSA ENTERTAINMENTS 2023-2024 was planned as a community-based art festival held throughout the year in Tokyo, including the production and presentation of works by artists. Pre-events from September 2023 to January 2024 included Hanaga Mitsutoshi's exhibition "Dark Ecology" featuring photographs of the Jokusatsu Corporate Monastery, Michael Kalikis and Marouane Sippert's performance "Listening stones making landscapes," and "Holding the Storm," the first solo exhibition in Japan of the Amsterdam-based design artist collective Meta Haven. During the three weeks from June 28, 2024 to July 15, the climax of this project, Choi Kafai's solo exhibition was held at Asaksa, and Yu Centa's pop-up event "Fancy Fantasy! by FAMEME" was held at Kabukicho in Shinjuku.

Assassa is a 40 square-meter project space converted from an ordinary house. It introduces artists from Japan and overseas who express themselves in society and promotes collaboration among curators. It hosts "Asakusa Entertainment," which supports artists in creating and presenting works.
