Profile
Graduated from the Department of Traditional Japanese Music, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, and completed a master's degree at the Graduate School of the Tokyo University of the Arts
1999 Succeeded to the name of Yamada-ryu Yamado-ryu koto school Yamado-ryu Yamado-ha (the seventh generation of the Yamada-ryu koto school)
2001 Received the "Encouragement Prize" of the 5th Victor Foundation Award
2002 Received the Arts Festival Excellence Award from the Agency for Cultural Affairs at the 1st Yamado-Matsuwa Association
2008 Received the Matsuo Entertainment Award for New Artists
2023 Received the 73 Japan Minister of Education Award for Fine Arts
Presently, he is a permanent director of the Japan Sankyoku Association, a director of the Yamada-ryu Sokyoku Association, a member of the Sokyoku Shinchokai, a member of the Sokyoku Kumiukai, a member of the Hogaku Gurupusho, and a lecturer at Atomi Gakuen Junior High School (sokyoku).
