With Western art music and composer Akiko Yamane as artistic director, the festival will feature piano concerts and artist talks on the theme of "Nijisosaku." Original, creative. In modern artistic thought, writing a unique piece of music from scratch with notes has been the original and powerful method of composition. In the 2020s, there are already countless songs that can be mass-produced, and this festival is a collection of works that use existing songs and existing concepts in some way. Since its opening in 1989, it has been moving between the 2 poles of "traditional and modern". In 2013, it moved to Ryogoku, and as a new art space, it changed its name to Ryogoku Menten Hall. It is operated by utilizing partnerships with artists of various genres and the community. Experimental events are always held to create a new culture.
