1972 Became a disciple of Koshimichi TAKEMOTO. 1974 Made his debut at Ueno Honbokutei. In 1976, he received the Geidankyo Rookie Encouragement Prize. He has been sponsoring the 'Society of Koshitaka TAKEMOTO' since 1989. 1994: Received the Seieikai Encouragement Prize. 2000: He was designated as Gidayu-bushi (general designation), an Important Intangible Cultural Property. 2007: She performed overseas without joruri for the first time in France. In 2019, he received the Pola Award for Excellence in Traditional Culture. 2021: Received the Excellence Award in the Music Division of the 75 Japan Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival.
