The Okutama Local Performing Arts Festival was held by 17 preservation groups of performing arts in Okutama Town, and valuable traditional performing arts from each region were showcased to pass down to the future, and the appeal of these arts was disseminated widely both within and outside the town. Today, 17 preservation groups in Okutama Town preserve and hand down the local performing arts handed down by their predecessors. We hold local entertainment festivals to provide opportunities for people to rediscover the splendor, fun, and value of traditional culture.
