A new dance work by Kedagoro based on Japan's national sports festival. [Kedagoro]
A dance company managed by Reisa Shimojima. Formed in 2013. Currently, there are 6 members. His major works include Sky (2018), a masterpiece of the company that takes the case of the United Red Army and overlaps the creative process with the structure of collective madness; Beacuse's Kazuko (2021), about Fukuda Kazuko, a plastic surgery fugitive who was responsible for the murder of a hostess in Matsuyama in the 1980s; and his latest work, Furu (2022), about the sinking of the Sewol ferry in South Korea. They will also be invited by overseas dance festivals such as SIDance (South Korea) and Hong Kong Dance Exchange (Hong Kong). Based on his philosophy of “"Dance" is a way of interpreting the world.” he has been presenting works that create controversy both in Japan and overseas. Winner of Kyoto Award (Grand Prize) and Audience Award at "KYOTO CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD 2020". Won the 17 Japan Dance Forum Award.
