Business Overview
Suzurishukai consists of three members: Manabu TAKEICHI, a fue player; Taitaro YAMAMOTO, a kyogen player; and Hiroshi OHIKATA, a waki-kata player. Looking at themselves at the time, they selected the songs and performers that should be performed at the moment and organized the performances. In this project, which was the third one, the programs were 'Tatsuta,' 'Tawanai,' 'Nawanai,' 'Noh,' and 'Sumidagawa.'. The performers were Nohgakushi (Noh actors) of the Kita school, which was in charge of shite-kata (lead actors) in the third stage of training, and hayashi-kata (musicians) were also members who had been instructed since those days. This performance was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but as a revenge performance for the cancellation due to the state of emergency, it was held with almost the same program and performers. It was a long-awaited performance for both the performers and those who planned to attend, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to meeting the expectations of the audience, it was an important performance to show both at home and abroad how each of them had worked tirelessly. Each member showed a strong presence even when the performance was canceled, and the performance was aimed at providing an opportunity to advance to a higher level, which in turn led to the promotion and attractiveness of not only Nohgaku but also other artistic and cultural activities.
