Business Overview
This project, entitled "The Limits and Possibilities of Wind and Percussion Ensembles: Various Aspects Since Schoenberg," focused on Arnold Schoenberg, whose birth marked 150 years ago. The program was intended to emphasize the inheritance and development of works of great musical value. In addition, in order to expand the repertoire and stimulate and invigorate composers' creative motivation, the program also included world premieres of commissioned works and collaborations with electronic music. A tube percussion ensemble formed in 2016 by young musicians who share various issues concerning the way music should be in modern society. He engages in creative activities centering on contemporary music works specialized in this composition. Based on regular concerts, he has appeared in a series of concerts held six times a year at the Nonaka Anna Hall, sponsored performances of chamber music concerts, NHK-FM's' Gendai no Ongaku '(Contemporary Music),' Tokyo Spring Music Festival Sakura no Machi no Ongakukai '(Music Concert in Cherry Town), and the lead performance of the Japan Composers Association,' Japanese Compositions' and received favorable reviews.
