[Event to be experienced] Nagauta shamisen [Number of times a participant experiences the practical skills (including recitals and their rehearsals)] 7 times [Name of main instructor] Katsukunio KINEYA (Nagauta shamisen) [Feature of the project] Assuming complete beginners, participants will first learn basic playing techniques such as shamisen posture and how to read music from the beginning. After practicing simple and familiar pieces such as' Twinkle Twinkle Little Star 'and' Sakura, 'some pieces of classical pieces that are easy to play (only the shamisen part) are practiced as assignment pieces, depending on how the participants have mastered them. 【 General Incorporated Association Tamanookai 】
In 2018, based in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, “Edo Nagauta Goikishu, ” a circle that uses the shamisen as a communication tool to contribute to town development, was founded. With the aim of promoting awareness and dissemination of the shamisen in general, they have been holding workshops for shamisen beginners, rakugo storytelling, and events in collaboration with town walking. In 2021, he established Tamanoo-kai, a general incorporated association, by absorbing the activities of Edo Nagauta goikishu. With Nagauta shamisen as its core, he is working to pass on Japanese culture and knowledge.
