Business Overview
This is the revival performance after 244 years of the work written by Gennai HIRAGA for the Yuki-za Theater. The playwright and director is Kano Yukikazu of Hanakumishibai, and the composer is Tsurusawa Tsugatoshi, a Living National Treasure. He boldly created the story of women who were involved in the affairs of Yoshimine NITTA, a younger brother of Yoshioki NITTA, by adding a scene from the prequel "Shinrei Yaguchi-watari" to "Aragoryo Nitta Jintoku." Although it is a reprise of a classic play, it also incorporates elements of a new play, making this a performance that can be said to be a return to the roots of the Yuki Theater, which has been active in the "double wheel of classics and new plays."
