Business Overview

A concert was held in which several pieces of new paintings drawn by the Japanese-style painter Penzan Yanase in the image of his three works "Shikikyoku" (Four Seasons), "Tomimoto Cherry Blossom Seven" and "Kumano" were displayed at the entrance, lobby and on the stage, so that people could enjoy Japanese traditional music and Japanese-style paintings from both visual and auditory directions at the same time. [Chiga Yamaki]
Yamada Nagareyamaki Pake FamilyBorn as the eldest daughter of the sixth generation Yamaki Chiga. Completed the master's course at the Graduate School of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in Yamada ryuke. While in school, he won the Ataka Award. He has held 14 recitals, including performances at the Japan Arts Festival. In 2018, at the National Theater, the seventh generation Chiga Yamaki took over. It is also focusing on nurturing the younger generation, such as holding "Koto Experience Classes for Children and Parents and Children (Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture Arts Council Tokyo Activity Experience Subsidy)". Chairman of the Yamakikai, director of the Japan Sankoku Association, director of the Yamada Koto Association, and part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, Kyoto University of the Arts.
