Business Overview
The 18 th Ryogoku Nigiwai Matsuri is a project to promote the history and culture of the two countries, such as the birthplace of sumo wrestling, the production of knitted fabrics, and the manufacture of toys, through events and to revitalize the region. As sumo culture is associated with chanko, there was a "chanko museum" where visitors can compare the taste of chanko; a "goods booth" where hats, clothes and accessories are sold as a town where knitted fabrics are produced; a "workshop" where toy manufacturers assemble model trains; and a "company PR booth" where local companies advertise themselves.
