Business Overview
Dancer Kihara Moeka reproduces her solo "Taco Dance" which she performed last spring with the theme of "Self Seen from Others". The stage is moved to the former residence and atelier of sculptor Hirakushi Tanaka, which is located near Yanaka Cemetery, and 4 performances are held over 3 days. Octopus = octopus. When we pay attention to others and the environment and feel connected to the outside world, we can release the armor of the "self" that had been closed and find ourselves a little lighter. Starting from this assumption, he explored dance without focusing on oneself from two directions: monthly workshops and performances from January to March. With lighting by Nagashi Matsumoto and music by Rei Munakata, it is a pioneer of modern atelier architecture, and by taking advantage of the large windows and the adjoining Japanese houses in the residential area, it welcomes the audience to a time and space slightly slipped from everyday life.
