Business Overview

Through the performance of Japanese works that he encountered through his performance activities in Japan, he conveyed to local people the unique organ culture and possibilities that are very different from those in Europe. I was able to demonstrate my performance skills and production abilities that I developed in Europe not only in Europe but also to Japanese audiences through SNS and videos.

Profile

[Kensuke Ohira]
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and its Graduate School. He went to Germany in 2010 on a DAAD scholarship. He studied at the Würzburg and the Musik University of Munich. In 2013, he was certified as a national musician, and became a member of the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Overseas Study Program for Emerging Artists. Won the first prize at the 2016 ION Nuremberg International Organ Competition. From then until 2020, he was involved in a wide range of musical projects within the Church of Stuttgartosteifts as its organist. He returned to Japan completely in 2021 and is currently the principal organist of Hijigaoka Church and the artistic director of Ensemble Muromachi.
