【 Japan Children and Youth Theater Company Cooperative 】
In response to the nationwide expansion of performance activities by theater companies specializing in performing plays for children after the war, it was established as a council in 1975 and became a cooperative in 2001 with the three goals of "establishing a professional foundation for children and youth theater," "protecting the health and livelihood of children and youth theater performers," and "realizing nationwide issues related to children and youth theater.".
The member companies cover a wide range of genres including stage plays, puppet plays, shadow plays and performances.
It has established 4 branches nationwide and currently has 66 theater companies.
