Business Overview
The "Kirameki Sculpture Festival" is an art festival on the theme of diverse contemporary "sculptures" conducted by 27 of today's most popular artists at 11 venues in the Yane 1000 area in Tokyo's Taito and Bunkyo wards, which are still filled with the atmosphere of downtown Tokyo. Participants range from sculptors and painters to contemporary artists, including parasitologists and ecologists. Based on the cultural foundation of the area where the exhibition will be held, the exhibition will create a place to present the relationship and ideas of each sculptor, and at the same time, it will convey the appeal of art and culture and leave an important record for future Japanese art. In addition to the exhibits, many other events were held to bring sculpture closer to the world, including a riddle-solving walk rally where visitors could enjoy strolling through the shopping streets and alleys of the Yane 1000 + Ueno Sakuragi area, a flea market run by artists, and workshops where parents and children could learn art together.
