Business Overview
Since 'Musashi Fuchu Local Karuta Cards' have been distributed to third graders at elementary schools in Fuchu City since they were published in Showa 48, they are no longer used, so the purpose of the 'Local Karuta Cards' is for parents and children to have an interest in the history, culture and nature of Fuchu, and for children who will bear the responsibility of Fuchu City in the future to learn about our town and develop a love for their hometown in order to preserve local activities and properties for future generations, as well as happy memories that will never fade. Targeting grade 3 students from 22 elementary schools in Fuchu City, 1 male and 2 female students from each elementary school were selected in an individual tournament system with the cooperation of after-school children's classrooms before the final round. The preliminary round for children participating on the day will be held in the morning on the day of the final round. The finals will be held separately for boys and girls in the lower and upper grades. By holding familiar karuta tournaments, we set the goal of achieving good results, which leads to more enthusiastic learning, and by continuing these tournaments, we believe that more children will develop a love of their hometown.

Profile
[Association to Consider the Utilization of Fuchu City's Heritage]
The purpose of this association is to propose the recognition and utilization of Fuchu's heritage to citizens by conducting activities related to Fuchu's heritage. In order to foster a love of the local area through the use of "Local Karuta" distributed to elementary school students in the city, the group is promoting awareness of the monuments of "Local Karuta" in various places in the city, producing picture books of Fuchu, and carrying out activities centered on PR in Fuchu City.
