Business Overview
This project was held as a related performance of "Composium 2023" sponsored by Tokyo Opera City Cultural Foundation. There is a composition contest called the Toru Takemitsu Composition Award, in which one judge takes full responsibility for judging, and a music festival is held every year focusing on the composers who are judges of this contest. This time, Yuzuru Kondo will be the theme composer and two related performances will be held jointly with the Tokyo Opera City Cultural Foundation. The reason why Kondo held solo exhibitions of his chamber music works and choral works for one day each is that the chamber music works were concentrated in the works that showed Kondo's authorship the most. This is because choral works have developments in compositional techniques that are not seen in works of other genres. The admission fee for the two related concerts was higher than that of the orchestra concert sponsored by the Opera City Foundation, but fortunately they were able to attract large audiences. It was also an important theme to pass on the tradition of Joe KONDO's performances to the next generation, and I believe that we were able to achieve steady results in this regard as well. Joe KONDO was awarded the Suntory Music Prize in 2023 for his achievements including this concert.

TRANSIENT is September 2016. It is a voluntary group formed by Junichi ISHIZUKA, Masamichi KINOSHITA, Masato OUCHI, Yoichi SUGIYAMA, and Ryuta NISHIKAWA in order to gather ideal musicians to perform works that should be listened to today, mainly those of Yoriaki MATSUDAIRA. In December 2018, he performed Matsudaira's opera "The Provocators" (piano reduction version) for the world premiere. Since then, he has hosted and produced seven performances. Some of their performances were recorded and broadcast on NHK FM, and they have been highly praised.
