Business Overview
Nosmosis Research, an offshoot of the XHIASMA Project/Research, is a research initiative led by Ema Yuasa that emphasizes the process of awareness gained from interactions between diverse people through physical expression and dialogue. From late summer to winter 2023, three dance and dialogue workshops (WS) will be held, centering on those with roots or connections abroad. In mid-December, Jija Song, born and raised in Kyoto and currently based in the Netherlands, was invited as a collaborating artist, and together with previous participants, they attempted to create a "scene" in a creative workshop. "Invisible Gradation" included time for the audience to experience the content of the workshop and for discussion, revealing the progress of the research through dialogue with participants from different positions and backgrounds.

Profile
[Nosmosis Executive Committee]
Using dance as a communication tool, the group collaborates with people who are difficult to engage in art due to physical, mental and social differences, and creates and presents works such as installations and performances. We aim to deepen mutual understanding and send out opportunities and possibilities to think about a diverse symbiotic society in the future.
