Business Overview
1. Organizing and publishing the records of our association's activities on the web For about 12 years, our association has created opportunities for the blind and the sighted to appreciate art together at museums and schools throughout the country (20 prefectures), and 2920 people nationwide (including about 476 visually impaired people) participated. We organized and compiled the results of our activities and know-how, and opened a WEB archive site that can be shared widely with society. 2. Survey of cases of art appreciation by the visually impaired. We interviewed participants of an appreciation workshop held by an organization open to the public on the web, and recorded their "seeing" experiences from personal perspectives of various positions. 3. Analysis and utilization of archives Mariko Suzumura, an educator at the Mie Prefectural Museum of Art who has planned many exhibitions from an inclusive perspective, was invited to participate in an online talk event in which she reflected on "people's experiences and relationships in the place of art appreciation" while referring to archives. A forum was set up for discussion on inclusiveness.
