Business Overview

The project started with an online call for "poetry" that imagines and views the future while confronting the global and local climate and environment. Meanwhile, in cooperation with the Design Research Institute (dri) of Chiba University, 60 students in 10 groups proposed the structure and direction of the venue for the poetry presentation. On October 7, 8 and 9, 2023, an event was held near the Kita Jumagawa Koumebashi pier in Sumida Ward. Based on a proposal from a group of students, a life saving inflatable boat named "Ukifune" was installed at a height of about 3 meters above the ground, and 26 poems collected from the public were presented as text, video and recitation (audio recording and live performance). The booklet "Poetry Collection + Project Report" was produced to conclude the activities.
