Business Overview
Ryogoku Art Center and Street Piano Sumidagawa have been in operation since 2017. It is also a project to participate in Sumida City's Sumida River Forest Bansho Sumi ni Yume, and has been held in cooperation with Sumida City for seven years. Each show has been well received by citizens, and there are many requests for the next show. In this fiscal year, we made use of the "people" and "place" that we have gained from our activities so far and collaborated with other organizations in and outside the ward. As the first step to create this project with the hands of all citizens, we also took on new initiatives in which citizens can participate, such as creating stage art with citizens through workshops and recruiting citizens' supporters to manage the activities together. Communication occurs through the piano, and street pianos not only demonstrate and appreciate art, but also bring people together. With the addition of street performances and stage art created by citizens, which proliferated and changed shape over time, the event created a festive atmosphere similar to a modern festival.

Ryogoku Monten Hall
Since its opening in 1989, Monchu Ceiling Hall has actively introduced and performed a variety of music and performances with the aim of providing a high-quality art experience and fostering a wide audience, while moving between the two poles of "traditional and modern". In 2013, it moved to Ryogoku and changed its name to Ryogoku Menten Hall as a new art space. It is operated in partnership with artists of various genres and the local community. Experimental events are always held to create a new culture.
