Business Overview
Artist Ukawa Naohiro launched the world's first live streaming channel "DOMMUNE" in 2010. Ukawa regards the filming, distribution, and recording of the programs produced every day in his studio as his "present art work." In this exhibition, we introduced a huge archive of programs spanning 13 years since the opening of DOMMUNE. Using this data as a material, we tried to update the history of the act of “drawing ” by using a generation AI of DOMMUNE ’ s original tuning to learn programs, and using artificial intelligence mounted on a permanent robot arm camera to create spatial paintings in real time. By expanding, transforming and creating over 10,000 hours of historical archives into other media such as paintings and three-dimensional works, where does the artist exist in the creation of the AI age? Based on the concept, each of the 12 exhibition rooms has developed a radical installation. During the exhibition, there were 11 live streaming experiences, 4 workshops, and 13 exhibition tours by Naohiro Ukawa. Audiences ranging from elementary school students to those in their 80s were able to draw their own performances at DOMMUNE using traditional mediums and participate actively in the works and programs, providing an opportunity to further deepen various questions surrounding society after Web3.0. Nariko KIKUCHI, Koichi MAKIGAMI, Shinji MIYADAI, Darth Rader, Kaoru INOUE, Fuyuki YAMAKAWA, Goro MURAYAMA, Aoi YAMADA, Hajime TACHIBANA, Mariko ASABUKI, and more than 50 gorgeous guests took the stage, making this a historic exhibition that should be remembered for future generations.
