Profile

[Shintomiza Children's Kabuki Association]
It was established in 2007 for the purpose of performing children's Kabuki in Chuo Ward, which has a deep connection with Kabuki. In conjunction with the 'Reitaisai' (regular festival) of the local shrine, 'Tetsuposu Inari-jinja Shrine,' Kabuki performances are held by children living in and attending elementary schools in the ward.
As with local jishibai, free performances at local shrines and elementary schools aim to reach more audiences and pass on the culture rooted in the community.
