Business Overview
The Shimokitazawa Music Festival is based on the theme of "Coexistence of Voices of Different Generations." It is an event that brings together people of all ages, from children to the elderly. Furthermore, not only local people, but also all visitors to Shimokitazawa can feel the city again through music and bond with each other. The 31 th Music Festival, which was held in person for the first time in 3 years, was held in consideration of the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Featuring mainly artists from Shimokitazawa, everyone from children to the elderly performs. The Shimokitazawa Music Festival was held in cooperation with the shopping district, neighborhood associations, and the music community so that everyone could proudly consider Shimokitazawa their hometown. In addition to the main concert using the hall, various events were held including an outdoor free live around Shimokitazawa Station.

Along with Masayasu Kashiwa, the president of the Shimokita Shopping District Promotion Association, 41 members of the executive committee are involved in event planning and operation with Smiley Harashima, who holds many music events in Shimokitazawa, Shinjuku, Tokyo and various places in Kyushu.
