Hachioji, Tokyo, was an important area during the Warring States period. In honor of Hojo Ujiteru, the warlord of the time, the festival recreated the Sengoku period to the world.

[Federation of Neighborhoods Associations of Moto-Hachioji District]
Moto-Hachioji district was originally built as a castle town by Ujiteru HOJO during the Sengoku period (period of warring states), and the silk industry flourished during the Edo period, supporting the 'Silk Road' as mulberry fields. At present, 28 organizations are members of this organization, which promotes mutual communication and friendship, and discusses and works on common issues.
