Business Overview

Composing music for an automatic piano, a technology that predates artificial intelligence, is positioned as a “pioneer of AI art, ” composing music using quarter tones unfamiliar to humans is positioned as an“ expansion of human aesthetics, ” and composing and drawing using today's generative AI is positioned as an “expansion of AI art. ”. Is it possible that an unknown mechanical aesthetic emerges from the intersection of these three? This project is a one-day "music concert + AI art exhibition in foyer and other places + AI Bijiken Symposium in the intermission" by bringing an automatic piano from the beginning of the 20 century and a piano in which all keys are tuned 1/4 lower to a historical building built at the end of the 19 century. Conlon Nankarou's "Learning for Automatic Piano" continuous live performance on roll paper, 4-minute music performance by the world's first joint performance of an automatic piano (unmanned) and a 4-minute piano (manned), and music composition and art exhibition by the latest generation AI.
