Business Overview

"Condition no Engeki Festival vol.1-Kabuki" is a festival presided over by Human Condition in which four young theater groups perform their own adaptations of kabuki at Kitasenju BUoY. One person in charge of production was sent from each group to form a committee to produce the festival, and a co-creative festival was held by young theater groups. Based on the concept of "meeting and sharing," in order to create encounters unique to the festival and to enliven the world of young theater, we held workshops for a wide range of young theater organization leaders, and set up a place where the artists and the audience could have conversations after seeing the works. This is the first event to be commemorated, and we aim to provide an opportunity for various groups to meet the culture of kabuki and think about the conditions of modern theater. The four performances are "Yotsuya Shinju" (Yotsuya Shinju Suicide), "Kumano Hitchhiker's Guide" (Antigen Theater), "The Sun, the Iron, and the Nail" (Pepe no Kai), and "Enchanted Oni" (Hoshipuro).

Profile

[Human condition]
A theater group established by ZR in 2019 while he was a student at the University of Tokyo.
The stage production is based on the concept of "things without which humans cannot live". He creates simple and serious dramas with dynamic bodies and violent music.
In recent years, using classical performing arts such as Kabuki and Ningyo Joruri as themes, he aims to create an experience that connects the audience and the works at the physical level, while keeping the distance from the present that the classics have.
