Business Overview
The Setagaya Ume Festival is now in its 44 th year. Many events have been held, such as rice-cake pounding by the Sandoshirai Association, green tea and sencha tea ceremony, and performances by koto music and taiko drums. In order to pass on Japanese traditional performing arts to the next generation, all the people involved welcomed the guests.

40 members of the executive committee mainly from the local shopping district and town association plan and manage the event. The Setagaya Ume Festival Executive Committee cooperates with the entire community, including local shopping districts, neighborhood associations, the Red Cross, schools, and people involved in events, to liven up the festival. This year marks the 44 th Setagaya Ume Festival.
