Business Overview
As an international exchange project, this project creates creativity through art (Exhibitions, workshops, performances, events, networking events, etc.) between foreign artists (Sweden, France) and Japanese artists. In particular, as an exchange project with Marseille, France, artists from Marseille and Sumida Ward were dispatched and invited. The artists stayed in the neighborhood of Kyojima and worked with local residents to enhance the cultural power of the area. It also aimed to reopen Tokyo as an international city beyond the pandemic.

【KAB Library and Residency】
The KAB Library and Residency is a membership library established in January 2020 by a private organization. It is a unique organization that serves as an artist-in-residence (AiR) where artists from Japan and overseas can stay while making use of the books in its collection. Various programs such as workshops and exhibitions by artists from Japan and overseas, exchange meetings and book clubs are held. Director Shoko Kato holds international exhibitions and international exchanges cultivated through her international career.
