In 2018, he stayed at the Kinosaki International Art Center and produced "Fort of Smile" which was performed at the Theater Hall of Fame Schaubune in Berlin. A small fishing port town facing the Sea of Japan. A family moves into an apartment where fishermen live. The fishermen get along like brothers and spend their days laughing. A family with a mother with dementia. Two completely different rooms, two different times. However, they gradually influence each other and their casual daily life changes. I just want to laugh and live. Stars include Susumu Ogata, Masato Nomura and FO Pereira Koichiro. The staff includes Takuya Kamiike for art, Masayuki Abe for lighting, and Koji Shiina for sound.

Profile
Niwa Gekidan Penino (Arsch LLC)
In January 2000, members of Showa University's drama club formed Niwa Gekidan Penino. The theater space "Hakobune," which is a remodeled apartment building, and the outdoor performances are used as well as the elaborate stage art. We have been invited to many major international performing arts festivals in Japan, including "Festival/Tokyo 2009 Autumn," "Fujinokuni Sekai Theater Festival," and "KYOTO EXPERIMENT." The Frustrating Adult Picture Book was performed in Berlin (Germany) in 2009, Zurich (Switzerland) and Gronigen (Netherlands) in 10, and was nominated for the ZKB Patronage Prize 2010, the renowned Swiss theatre award. In 2014, she toured 5 cities in America with "Your Room That Nobody Knows" and received good reviews. In 2015, The Box in the Big Trunk was invited to the Vienna Art Week and the World Theatre Festival, and received a five-star rating in the local Vienna newspaper. In 2016, he toured 4 countries in Europe with "Jigokudani Onsen Mumyo no Yado" and was highly praised. In 2018, as an official project of Japonismes 2018, 'The Dark Master' and 'Jigokudani Onsen Mumyo no Yado' were performed consecutively at Genevilliers in France and became a topic of conversation.
