Business Overview

Born in Europe in the middle of the 16 century, the durzian reached its golden age during the baroque era in the early 17 century, but disappeared from the center stage with the advent of the baroque bassoon in the 18 century. This project tracked the history and repertoire of this ancient instrument, which has few players and extremely low name recognition in Japan, from before its birth, and was the first solo concert of Durzian by a professional player in Japan. The concert itself was presented as a musical resource as well as entertainment, and the results of Durzian's research, repertoire, and charm were widely communicated to the public.
