Business Overview

He collaborated with Indonesian artist Shaiful Garibaldi and stem cell researcher Fitria Duwi Ayuningtias on projects on breast milk and breastfeeding. Based on experiments on culturing stem cells from breast milk, interviews with women who have breast-fed, and research on orangutan mothering behavior, the film combines narration and imagery based on scientific opinions, breast-feeding experiences, and gender perspectives. He also created photo acrylic and embroidery works, and exhibited his installation works in the group exhibition "Membelah Menyatu, Split/Unite" sponsored by the LOKUS Foundation, which he and his colleagues manage. A symposium and online exhibition were also held.

Born in Tokyo in 1985. It is currently based in Tokyo and Bandung (Indonesia). Graduated from Chelsea University of the Arts in 2011. Based on his historical and cultural research of Indonesia and Japan, he introduces various approaches including not only official documents such as documents and archives, but also novels, daily necessities and fieldwork, and presents video works and installations. In recent years, it has focused on women, which are often overlooked.
