Business Overview

“Interloper ” is a performance piece that focuses on the issues of territorial conflicts that humans perpetuate because they are humans today or even in the past. Inspired by the short story "interlopers" by Saki. Some Japanese go to Europe to listen to people who experienced the Yugoslav conflict. Amid a series of flight cancellations, she takes off her mask and feels liberated as she travels by train and bus from the Carpathian Mountains, the setting of Psaki's story, to the Balkans. However, he was hit hard by the unprecedented depreciation of the yen and lost his money, so he started bussing (making money by playing music at stations). In Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, he encounters a girl from Transylvania, Romania, and gets involved in an incident while spending time with her. Without knowing whose territory it is or what the truth is, the Japanese are asked to testify and reveal what they have hidden deep inside. This work participated in the program PARL – Performance Art Research Ljubljana, Slovenia and was created based on feedback from Slovenian directors, dramaturgs, performers and artists.
