Bass Trombone Recital by Kazunari Ozeki This project approaches the question of "What is the ideal music?" by performing original works written for bass trombone and works not written for bass trombone. The aim was to create a multifaceted and original musical space by staging and projecting images between pieces. Program J.S. Profile
[Kazunari Ozeki]
Bass trombonist
In addition to performing mainly with orchestras and brass ensembles, he is also involved in a wide range of activities including planning, arranging, outreach, and teaching brass bands. So far, she has organized "Chiasme" (2018), which aims to create a concert as a comprehensive art work combining not only brass instruments but also art and literature. He performed 'Between Words and Sounds' in 'Art Vaccine ©' at the Art Inn Marunouchi 2021, University of the Arts, and won the Kengo Kuma Prize.
He was born in Machida City, Tokyo. He graduated from the Department of Instrumental Music, Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. He is currently a student at the University's Graduate School of Music, Department of Instrumental Music, Division of Tunnel percussion.
