The contemporary punk opera 4:48 Mental Collapse began production in 2018 and had its world premiere at Space EDGE (Shibuya, Tokyo) in March 2020. Instead of using Sarah Kane's play for this London production, the group has created an original new work based on their previous creations with the theme of disappearing languages. Profile
[KAWAGUCHI Tomoko (Director, absolute representative of limited liability company)]
Started directing activities in 2008. In 2010, she began performing Sarah Kane's work, and after a long period of planning and a 2 year production process, presented this work. They are not limited to contemporary theater, but actively engage in baby theater, citizen collaboration, and exchange with foreign artists and artists of other genres. In 2022, he directed a new opera "That Town is Today's Festival" based on a libretto written by Yoko TAWADA.
