FY Reiwa 3 (2021) FY 1 Social Support Grant through Arts and Culture

Business Overview
This project supports the improvement of the QOL of persons with intellectual disabilities through performing arts by instructors who are familiar with acting, singing, dancing, and stage production. I believe it is important to transcend the barrier of "people with intellectual disabilities" and pass on the expressive skills they have developed to people in regions with little interaction with people with disabilities. This time, as the performance was being held amid measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, they devised their content and staging, such as reducing the number of singing scenes as much as possible, and practiced at intervals. PCR tests were conducted twice, the number of people allowed to enter the dressing room was limited, visitors after the performance was over were prohibited, and questionnaires were collected. It is an original work based on the vampire Dracula, with the message of seeking a society where people can respect each other regardless of differences in appearance or ideology. On the day of the event, more than half of the target number of visitors were attracted, and there were responses such as being interviewed by cable TV. Two weeks after the end of the performance, there was no problem with infection, and since the most important issue was to manage the members' physical condition, we consider this a success.
