Business Overview
The "15th Katsura Symphony Society: Prayer and Requiem" is a Noh performance project held at the National Noh Theater on November 23, 2022 with the support of Arts Council Tokyo sponsored by the Noh and Kyogen Appreciation Association (Chairman: Keizo Nagayama / Shitekata Kansei-ryu Noh Entertainer). The theme of this performance was "Prayer and Requiem", and Keizo Nagayama served as the "elder" who prayed for peace in the world and the peace of the country, and performed Noh "Rong" as a memorial performance for the third memorial service of Keizo Nagayama's father, Reizaburo Nagayama. At the root of Noh, which was a great success in the Muromachi period, there is a long history as an art of requiem. In a world that is stagnant due to the corona disaster, Noh performers such as Kanze Cho no Cheng, who is also a teacher of Keizo Nagayama, Umewaka Sakurayuki, a living national treasure, Mansai Nomura, and Rinzo Nagayama appeared.

Profile
[Noh and Kyogen Appreciation Association]
It was established by Keizo NAGAYAMA, a Noh actor of the Kanze school, with the aim of improving his art and popularizing Nohgaku. They regularly hold workshops at 'Setagaya Nagayama Noh Stage' (completed in 2017) located in Setagaya Ueno. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we held a monthly lecture titled “Why don't you experience the world of Noh? ” and in addition to watching the performance, we also held a program in which participants could watch the men's costumes and actually experience the chanting of Noh songs, so that they could understand the details of Noh while understanding the program. Also, under the title of "Let's Try!! "Yokyoku Shimai" Okei Koman-to-man" they hold lessons for three months (twice a month).
